Delicious Juicing Recipes For Weight Loss Will Help You Get Started Losing Weight

Getting started on a diet plan or even just keeping one up can be difficult.  Adding fresh juices can make a big difference.  When trying to lose weight, often you end up eating less calories or lower calorie foods.  Often, we get caught up in the hype of diet foods.  Diet foods often are processed and low in nutrition.  Just imagine a typical day of eating to try to lose weight.  It might consist of little to no breakfast with a cup of coffee, a diet soda for lunch with a salad from a local fast food place and a dinner of maybe chicken with a little starch and veggies.  The problem with that diet isn’t just that it is low in calories but that it is often devoid of nutrition.  Think that salad from McDonalds has any nutrition in it?  Its mostly Iceburg lettuce with a few other veggies on top, if you’re lucky.   So, what do you think your body is really getting for nutrition when you’re on a diet?  Not too much I’ll bet.  That’s where juicing can be a part of the answer.  Making healthy juicing recipes will help your weight loss plan be both lower in calories as well as nutritious.  To receive daily juice recipes and smoothie recipes (I try to make them all low calorie recipes) sign up to get my daily recipes (see box at right) that I’ll send you via email.

As for a “blender”…. If you are planning on making any type of green smoothie or one with lots of raw vegetables in it at all, you really need a power blender.  The Vitamix is my baby.  I LOVE mine.  I use it multiple times a day.  It can make amazing, super smooth smoothies and even soups (it gets really hot because of the super high speed and after a few minutes so it can actually make soup!)  Its very easy to clean (add a little dish soap and water and turn it on, rinse and your done) and is an amazing workhorse.  It will literally puree ANYTHING you throw in.  I like to make almonds, or raw sesame seeds into a fine powder before adding the rest of the ingredients to allow my smoothie to have even more nutrition.  Check out my post on “Smoothies as Part of a Healthy Weight Loss Plan” for more ideas.

Why do Juicing Recipes For Weight Loss Help with your Diet?

When you’re looking for a boost to your nutrition, what better way than with healthy juicing recipes.  If you’re going to add juicing to your daily diet, make it the most nutritious it can be.  This is where healthy juices come in.  Drinking a juice that is packed with great nutrition is a great support to any diet.  Try drinking a fresh juice about 20 minutes before any meal.  This will help fill you up as well as fill up the nutritional gaps you might have even after eating.  Even if you are eating healthy, with lots of fruits and vegetables, juicing can add even more nutrition.  Creating delicious juicing recipes for weight loss means giving your body what it needs nutritionally so it can function better.

Don’t have a juicer or looking for a new one?  Check out my three most recommended centerfugal juicers.  These are easy to use and clean up.  Very good daily use juicers.

Also, learning to eat in a way that increases your metabolism can really help in you efforts to lose weight (especially fat)  Check out Metabolic Cooking.  I think this is a great system and eating plan.  It is full of recipes and the plan really makes nutritional sense.  Eating to boost your metabolism is eating to trick your body into burning fat and building muscle, rather than burning muscle and storing fat.  Very interesting!

Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss Not Only Help Your Diet, They Help You Feel Better

When your body has the nutrition it needs it runs better.  A body that is nutritionally sound will have more energy.  If you have more energy you are able to do more things like excersizing  Being able to do more excersize obviously helps you burn more calories as well.  Also, making healthy choices like drinking a low calorie juice before a meal will help you make good choices throughout the day.  Sometimes making one good healthy choice will lead to other healthy choices.
